Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?
Appointments are recommended so someone is available to assist you upon arrival. You are always welcome to come in and browse, however, in order to make the best use of your time we strongly recommend an appointment with one of our professional design consultants.
How should I prepare for my visit to the showroom?
Search the Internet or magazines for ideas and inspiration relating to the styles and colors you like. Feel free to bring pictures of things that best represent your taste. Please allow yourself time so you don’t feel rushed. Because we offer products in all price categories, please consider your budget in advance.
What should I bring with me to my appointment?
Please bring any plans or drawings of the room you’re customizing. If you don’t have any, you may find our downloadable Planner Kit helpful. Please take measurements and do a rough drawing of how you envision your space. Samples of flooring, tile, paint or wallpaper could prove beneficial in color selection. Please be sure to bring the names and contact information of any contractors or designers involved in your project with you.
May I purchase material myself?
We support our local contractors, so if you’re working on your project with a local plumber, we would supply you with materials through that contractor. If you’re handling your own installation, then yes, you may purchase the material from us for your project.
When will I get the pricing for my project?
That depends upon the size and complexity of the project. Typically, we provide pricing the same day, or within a couple days for larger jobs. When purchasing through a contractor, please take into account that they will need extra time to figure the job in its entirety.
Does Hughes Supply install kitchens and baths?
We do not perform installations, nor do we subcontract installations. But, we are able to make recommendations of professional contractors in your area who have outstanding reputations.
Do you have a play area for children?
We do not have a designated play area and we recommend that you not bring small children into the showroom. We understand if you must bring children, but we appreciate your responsibility for their safety and behavior.
Do you have showroom products in stock?
We do carry a large inventory of showroom products. While it’s impossible to stock everything, we are generally able to procure non-stock items quickly.
What if I need to change my order after it has been placed?
Certain custom products are noncancelable and non-returnable. Restocking charges may apply to some items, but standard items may be returned if unopened and in resaleable condition. This is one reason why measurements are confirmed as accurate prior to placing an order.
