Where were you born?

I was born in Pulaski, Virginia. It is the county seat of Pulaski County and is part of the Blacksburg–Christiansburg–Radford Metropolitan Statistical Area. The estimated population is 8,764.

What are your hobbies?

My grandkids are my favorite hobby, nothing brings me more joy than to play with them.

What would people be surprised to know about you?

I’m an above average golfer, I used to play often and was under par much more than over par.

What’s one thing you couldn’t do your job without?

My coworkers, they are an integral part of our team and together we make things go smooth (most of the time). J

What are you doing when not providing great service at Hughes Supply Statesville?

I’m playing with the grandkids, they keep me motivated and active.

Where is your favorite vacation destination?

Walt Disney World in Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista, Florida. I love to take the family as often as our schedule permits.

Do you support a charity or nonprofit, what is it and why?

Our church supports numerous local charities; I believe we can assist needier people through our church group.

If you could have any superhero power, what would it be?

Fly, I would fly around Hughes Supply and tease my friends. That would be great!

Who is your hero and why?

My Dad, he was my inspiration as a child and as a young adult, he taught me to be a gentleman and a good husband/family member.
