Where were you born?
I was born and raised in Statesville, NC, we are a city in Iredell County. Statesville established in 1789, with an estimated population of 26,506.
Tell us about your family.
I have a lovely wife Trina and a wonderful daughter Savannah and two dogs (Tazzy and Rueben).
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy most outdoor sports, playing golf, fishing, and hunting. I prefer being outdoors around nature.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I like to dance. There may be a video of me somewhere, but I hope it’s not online! 🙂
What is the most inspiring part of your job?
I can help customers with their plumbing needs. I thrive to get their order right the first time, and on time, my regular customers expect that from me.
What’s one thing you couldn’t do your job without?
The people I work with, our team is like a functioning sports team, we are all on the same page with the same mission.
Besides your job, what are you really good at?
Playing sports, I considered becoming a professional athlete when I was in high school.
What are you doing when not providing great service at Hughes Supply Statesville?
Spending time with my family is the most important thing to me, I also like working around the house, and being outdoors. My wife says I’m a good handyman.
What would you do if you won the lottery?
First, I would take care of my family, they are my world. Second, I would donate to a charity and then travel the world.
Where is your favorite vacation destination?
Any place with a beach, we love the sun and sand and some of the best golf courses are near the coast.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever given or received?
Always be kind to others.
Who is your hero and why?
My Dad has always been my hero. He taught me a lot a young age before he passed away. Also helped me get started playing sports, something I loved to do.
What sports teams do you root for?
Miami Dolphins, and our Carolina Panthers in football, the Atlanta Braves, and Boston Red Sox in baseball, the Charlotte Hornets in basketball, and all the North Carolina Tar Heels.
