Where were you born?

I was born and raised in Hickory, NC which is a city in Catawba County with an estimated population of 40,374.

Tell us about your family.

I married Jeremy Nelson in 2008, we have 2 beautiful children, Tyler & Avery.

What are your hobbies?

We love the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, any outdoor adventure!

What would people be surprised to know about you? 

I wanted to be a marine biologist.

What is the most inspiring part of your job? 

I love to help people & simplify the plumbing selection process. It’s always a pleasure to find a solution for a customer!

Besides your job, what are you really good at? 

Feng Shui, I am very good at organizing, space planning, & event planning

What are you doing when not providing great service at Hughes Supply Statesville? 

I try to spend as much time with my family and friends as possible, helping them with any of their needs is important to me.

What would you do if you won the lottery? 

First I would pay off all our debts, and then find a way to spread my time between non-profit organizations that help children and also organizations that help animals.

Do you have any pets?

We have lots of pets: Cat – Ollie, Dog- Grifan, Chickens – Richard, Margaret, Charlotte, and our Fish (which have no names.

Where is your favorite vacation destination?  

The Florida Keys! It’s so beautiful and the ocean provides so many options for us to have fun outdoors.
