Where were you born?

I was born in Loray, NC, a small town west of Statesville. The estimated population is 764.

What are your hobbies?

I love being outdoors, so any activity in the woods, mountains, the beach or yard is what I enjoy.

What would people be surprised to know about you?

I like to cook outside, either on the grill, in a pit or a smoker. I smoke Boston Butts for my friends and family at Thanksgiving.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

The smiles on our customers face when I pull in for a delivery.

What’s one thing you couldn’t do your job without?

The Hughes Supply truck, it enables me to make deliveries on time, every time.

Besides your job, what are you really good at?

Sleeping on the beach 🙂

Where is your favorite vacation destination?

Myrtle Beach, or any NC coastal area. I like to surf fish at Topsail Island too.

What is the best advice you’ve ever given or received?

Be Kind, life is short, so be kind and enjoy every day with the people you love.

If you could have any superhero power, what would it be?

Swim like Aqua man! I would love to swim the oceans and see the beauty of the underwater world.

What sports teams do you root for?

Carolina Panthers, my favorite player is Thomas Davis, I have 3 of his jerseys.
