Committed To Our Community
Hughes Supply in Statesville is active with our community, we want to help make the Greater Statesville area, Hickory, Mooresville and Wilkesboro, NC communities (our primary service areas and homes) a better place to live for everyone. Our company frequently gets involved with causes that matter, to benefit the people in our area.
Some of our recent activities have included working with Purple Heart Homes on a Veteran Home Ownership project in Wilkesboro, NC. The goal of Purple Heart Homes and Hughes Supply is to assist local veterans back into their community and recognize their efforts and sacrifices made on behalf of our country and our community. We worked with Purple Heart Homes to build a home, providing labor and plumbing supplies for the project. Hughes Supply Statesville is proud to partner with Purple Heart Homes and their veteran assistance programs; it is one of the community oriented organizations we feel very strongly about.
Our manager, Russell Rauch is an adamant bike rider and has numerous times joined the American Cancer Society in their efforts to stamp out cancer. Russell has pedaled thousands of miles in fund raising efforts, on behalf of Hughes and his family, to support the ever growing needs of the American Cancer Society.
24 Hours of Booty is another bike riding, fund raising, 24-hour cycling event Russell has participated in. His efforts, supported by Hughes and our co-workers, have helped raise money and awareness locally and nationally in the fight against cancer.
